CTF Appoints New Alberta Provincial Director
EDMONTON: The Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Scott Hennig as director and spokesman for the CTF in Alberta. Mr. Hennig replaces John Carpay who served in the position for four years.
Prior to accepting the position, Scott worked as a public policy researcher and speechwriter for the Government Members' Research Branch in Edmonton.
Scott Hennig was born and raised just outside of Edmonton in the City of Fort Saskatchewan. He graduated from the University of Alberta receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
Mr. Hennig looks forward to contributing to the advances already made in Alberta by former directors Jason Kenney, James Forrest, Mark Milke, Mitch Gray and John Carpay in their fight for lower taxes, the elimination of government waste, and more transparency and accountability.
The Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) is a federally incorporated, non-profit and non-partisan, advocacy organization dedicated to lower taxes, less waste and accountable government. The CTF was founded in 1990 when the Association of Saskatchewan Taxpayers and the Resolution One Association of Alberta joined forces to create a national taxpayers organization. Today, the CTF has over 65,000 supporters nation-wide.
